SurveyStar Traverse Pro is developed by Prajuab Riabroy. It is a freemium app: the core survey-traverse computation is free, and an optional paid subscription unlocks additional export features. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle.

In short: the app does not collect your personal information, and your survey projects stay on your device.

Information the app collects

The app has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location. It contains no advertising, no analytics, and no crash-reporting tools.

The survey projects you create — together with any details you type in, such as project name, station names, or surveyor name — are stored only on your device. I do not receive, transmit, or have any access to them. Uninstalling the app removes this data from your device.

Subscriptions

If you choose to subscribe to the paid tier, the purchase is handled by:

  • Google Play Billing — Google processes the payment. I never see your card or payment details.
  • RevenueCat — used only to determine whether your subscription is active (so the paid features unlock). RevenueCat receives a randomly generated, anonymous identifier for your app installation and the purchase/receipt information needed to validate the subscription. It is not linked to your name or email.

Data sharing

I do not sell or share your information, and none of it is used for advertising. Purchase information is used solely to provide, restore, and manage your subscription.

Security

Because your survey data never leaves your device, its security depends on your device. I recommend protecting your device with the usual screen lock and keeping its system up to date.

Children’s Privacy

This app is a professional surveying tool and is not directed at children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the app and at the published policy address; material changes will be reflected in the effective date below.
